Two great U2 covers I heard yesterday

Both are beautiful and couldn't be more different.

Acoustic 'I will follow' and Trent Reznor produced 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' (on the new Saul Williams record being shared Radiohead style).

I've been meaning to listen to that Saul Williams' for about a week now- thanks for the reminder- I did just now - it's very good!! I was a bit surprised that he didn't change up any of the lyrics at all.

Not that they need changing, of course, but I'd almost expect that from him..

Indeed, the Saul Williams take on ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’ is quite possibly one of the best covers of any U2 song ever. Well, of those that I’ve heard at least.

There was already a thread about the Saul cover in EYKIW.

And the other just isn't that good, it's trying to do what Ryan Adams did you Wonderwall, but it fails.

Rogue Wave's cover of 'Seconds' is one of the few U2 covers I personally enjoy.
