I may shrink this pic to smiley size.

I'll have to see it.

Which reminds me, while there are few people around, I have to confess something movie related,

As a film major, there are just certain movies I am apparently supposed to like. But Good God. I could NOT sit through BladeRunner. In fact, I tried TWICE. I never give movies a second chance, and especially not immediately afterwards, but so many people told me I should like it. I Liked the beginning, I LOVED the end But I got soooo bored and lost in the middle

Hey, don't worry about it. I've never seen Blade Runner!

Actually, I'm pretty bad at watching films, even though I enjoy them. I don't like the idea of sitting down and knowing that you'll be there for the next two hours only watching a screen, but there's some irony there because I do that every day when I start using a computer.

yeah pretty rare for me to sit and watch a movie, usually doing other stuff at same time .

I <3 Clockwork Orange  But I definitely came very close to not finishing it for a few moments.

And I would just like to celebrate the fact that that was the first time in my entire life that I spelled definitely right on the first attempt and without thinking about it.

That was when I almost turned it off, but I was very bored so I kept going.

It was just a mood issue. It wasn't what I wanted to see at the time, but I'll slog through it eventually.

After all, I <3 American Psycho, so it couldn't be that tough for me.

That stuff usually doesn't bother me, it was just something about THAT scene. Probably the singing.

Is American Psycho good, that's another one I need to see.

Ok, so this is going to sound silly I suppose, or not. When I was about oh, 6/7 years old, my Grandma lived with us, and one day while my mom was at work and my dad was doing a tree job, we watched Sister Act about ten times. I f'in loved that movie. I still do. But, see, my Grandma died in September of '06 and she left me all of her movies. Everytime I go to watch Sister Act, I just can't do it. At all. It's weird, I can listen to the soundtrack, I can watch clips on Youtube, but the idea of watching the entire movie just chokes me up.

Now here's the thing, I have OCD, I don't know if I've mentioned that, and sometimes, I've just GOT to do things. Last night I had this weird dream about Sister Act, and now I really want to watch it. Tonight I mentioned the movie to someone at work, and they were asking me what it was about, and as I was explaining the PLOT I almost started crying. I had to go in the back for a few minutes and calm down. So now I'm in this...really weird spot. I WANT to watch it, but I REALLY REALY REALLY REALLY don't.

Anyways. Venting I suppose.

American Psycho is hilarious. Christian Bale chasing after a prostitute in his underwear with a chainsaw always brings the lolz. Also, his rants about how wonderful mid 80's pop music is are nothing short of brilliant.

You shouldn't watch the movie if you really don't want to. Fight your urges. It's the one step towards freedom. Believe me, I have a little OCD in me myself.

I was sold at 80's pop music

Yeah, I know I should resist certain things. It helps. I get so weird about such little ridiculous things. I can't watch any movie series out of order (the reason I have yet to see a James Bond film), and I had a terribly difficult time deciding if certain books series should be read in chronological order to the storyline, or chronologically by release date.

There's other things, but those are the ones I feel bad about, because I have had so many friends give me a hard time about not going to certain movies with them as they insist none of the films are related (I'm looking at you Casino Royale)

My favorite American Psycho quotes:

Don't touch the watch.

Waiter: Would you like to hear today's specials?
Patrick Bateman: Not if you want to keep your spleen.

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

[to Al, a homeless person]
Patrick Bateman: Get a damn job, Al.

Yeah, I don't have OCD that badly, but I have to check doors an extra time or two, straighten things, but it doesn't really rule me, thank God. :crack:
