Glad to hear it! I saw them play 'side' on MtvEuro awards, damn fine performance. I want to see them if/when they come here.

I love Travis. I saw them play a small club on the Man Who Tour. Beautiful songs....

They're lovely boys as well. And Fran - what a cutie!!

I've seen them a few times around the cities here. Once I got kicked out for being underage (curse you 17!). That time I met them and I got the lead singer's sock. I should find that sometime....meh...they opened up for Dido the time I got to stay. I only watched them though, 'cos Dido sucks.

My sisters boyfriend went to see them last night (I think) in Manchester. He really enjoyed it.
I'm not a huge Travis fan but I'm now beginning to wish I'd gone too.

Glad you had a blast. Makes me jealous though. I nearly went but decided that I should save money as I need to pay my car tax. Blarg

Doves are one of my favourite bands. Listen to "The Cedar Room," "The Man Who Told Everything," "Sea Song," and "Break Me Gently." Hell, just get the whole album. It's all fantastic.

Travis is awesome live. I saw them open for Oasis. Travis was actually the highlight of that night. I knew all of Oasis' material, so I was just there to see them and hear the tunes. I figured Travis would suck...I had never heard of them before. Indianapolis isn't exactly on the cutting edge of entertainment, you know. But once they got into their more beautiful songs, I started to really like them. When they played "Turn" and "Why does it always rain on me", I was instantly transformed into a fan. It was so amazing because I didn't know their songs..and to get to know the songs by actually seeing the band perform them live is truly special.

Anybody know when they are coming to the States again????

Travis rock! They're one of my favorite bands. I saw then a couple of weeks ago and it was a fantastic show, even though we were at the very back of the arena. I loved it so much I tried to get tickets for another show as well, but no luck unfortunately.

I didn't think much of the Doves though. They were OK, but not great in my opinion. The lead singer did apologise though because he thought they weren't playing very well, so maybe that was it.
