Above: Worldwide viewing circumstances for the lunar eclipse of Nov. 8th and 9th, 2003. Note that the shading of the map does not indicate day or night, but rather eclipse visibility. The entire eclipse will be visible from the white-shaded areas. None of the eclipse will be visible from the darkest-shaded areas.

 i hadn't noticed that on the map!

at least you got to see part of it...it's totally clouded over and raining off and on here. :|
well i guess you could say the moon was eclipsed by the clouds

but i got to see a simulation of the eclipse at the planetarium last nite :hyper:

bah...one of the similar threads is "U2 GTA November 8th Gathering in Toronto"...where i wish i was right now :|

didn't see the eclipse down here, but I have spent the past few nights outside enjoying the moonlight. My youngest son has discovered the joy of the telescope. It's been fun...and beautiful.

shine on :)

I saw it it was awesome! I didn't see the total eclipse... just thereafter around 9pm EST. Very cool  and cold :yikes: -5 right now. brrrr

Guess I missed it--it's mighty cold out there anyway. We had flurries all day, ugh.
