- This song is awesome to sing at karaoke.
- 'We're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks' is an awesome line.
- It's really cheesy. In an awesome way.

So appreciate, dammit. I know there are people out there on this forum who like this song.

I have some great memories associated with this song. :D

So do I. It was popular right at the time I was dating my very first "real" boyfriend back in high school. He used to sing the "turn around, bright eyes" line whenever we heard it on the radio.

Isn't the guy who wrote it the same one who wrote stuff for Meat Loaf? It certainly has his cheesy fingerprints all over it!

yeah.. you have a great time singing that song on karaoke... and it is so full of drama

We have a name for that kind of songs... dramatic love songs from the 80's and late 70's : songs for ironing... because many of our moms or home employers used to listen to that kind of music while they were... ironing :p
