Yeah. It's pretty funny though, that I'm so used to stomach illnesses that I can tell what might kill me and what might not. This I think will fade after a couple of hours.

Ax, that's the American educational system for you.
Phail Collins writes the curricula?

Pretty sure I'd've noticed that one happening!

@Screwtape: Thanks for your concern, much appreciated!

@Axver: Thanks for your concern! Wow it's a good thing I hadn't gone then - I'd've gone to the original venue and stood there like an idiot wondering where you were.

Nah, he lives in Melbourne. High likelihood he was run over by a tram twice and cut in half.

The American education system has done me alright. Then again, I'm in one of the five wealthiest school districts in the state or something, so... there's that.

Yeah, you only get shot in the stomach in Sydney.

And I still don't understand how people can get run over by trams

And curbstomped.

The first time I used WebMD, I was searching for my upper back pains to see if I should just stretch or go to a chiropractor. It told me I had kidney failure.

I don't even normally check! I don't know why I refreshed my timetable this morning. Bloody glad I did. Economics & Commerce is right by the Baillieu, so that's a lot more handy to the 55 than Architecture and I can leave on the later tram. I wonder how many people will be standing around outside Architecture ... or end up walking into some other random lecture ...

I once saw a girl step backwards into a tram at Melbourne Central. She was at the tram stop in the middle of Swanston Street waiting to cross to the side, and my tram started moving away when she just randomly stepped back in front of it and got spun around. Luckily nothing worse than that. But how the hell do you even do that?! Are people just not aware of their surrounds or something?

That's classic.

I once knew someone who relied on that rather than actually having a doctor too ...

Never used WebMD before, but I'm looking at it now. It's... quite odd.

People have had their arms cut off by trams, man. It's incredibly weird.
