I know, I'm sure there have been a zillion of these threads, but one more couldn't hurt could it? I've always thought U2 fans had fairly diverse tastes in music. A lot of fans of other bands tend to stick within one mini-genre, i.e. punk, heavy metal, reggae, ect... I like to think that U2 fans reach out a bit more. To see if this is true or not, post your five favourite bands (not including U2). Mine, in no paticular order:

-Interpol
-The Beatles
-The Velvet Underground
-Tool
-Nirvana

The Rolling Stones
The Clash
Interpol
The Undertones
