also maybe
one of those "fun post"?

It is nice to see him win one without the supreme court.

I have to admit that I haven't seen Spiderman 2 yet, but I do like Alfred Molina... back in the day when he said to Indiana Jones, "no time to argue! throw me de idol!"

Yeah.

So, anyway. My favorite film villain? Mr. Alan Rickman. He was awesome in Die Hard, but I especially loved him in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. He was just so smarmy. ;)

Moonie :D

Hannibal Lecter- Silence Of The Lambs
Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix)- Gladiator
Darth Vader- Star Wars Trilogy
Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff)- Blade
Kenneth Brannagh in Rabbit Proof Fence
Darkness (Tim Curry) -Legend
Any villian Sean Bean has played
Nicole Kidman - To Die For

Bill the Butcher from Gangs of New York

Daniel Day-Lewis

What a great f:censored:king actor

Great and Underappreciated sadly. Day-Lewis was the reason why I bought that movie. I still say he was robbed Oscar time!

Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List- Another underrated but great actor. His character was scary, disgusting and just plain evil. Even scarier is that he played a real person. I still think he deserved that Oscar more than Tommy Lee Jones did for this performance!

Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast- proved he was more than just the actor who played Gandhi.

My creative writing/American lit teacher has been pestering me to watch this

Gandhi or Sexy Beast?

If it's Gandhi then it's worth it! It's a long movie though but Kingsley is fantastic.
He earned that Oscar for this role!!

If its Sexy Beast I'm not so sure. Kingsley's performance was electrifying but the movie as a whole wasn't fantastic. I watched it just for Kingsley. You don't have to take my word on it. You might really like it.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of the Lambs...

...but I love him anyway, so I guess I don't consider him as much of a villain as I did when I first saw the movie.

i dont know, i think i found the emporer to be more scary than vader when i was a little kid, only because you could actually see his evil face

Wait till Episode 3 - the Anakin to Vader transformation should give you the creeps!

my vote is for HAL in 2001: Space Odyssey

Interesting choice, but I think HAL is just a little misguided.

Personally, I would go with Darth Vader. Or Keyser Soze ("The Usual Suspects") -- genius.

satan.

(best known for his work in "exorcist").
