Thoughts, comments, personal amendments?

It was nice to see a large mix of horrors in there, from psychological terrors to Italian spletterfests. And with only one remake in the list, it also holds true the opinion that most remakes are completely unnecessary. I was suprised to see Exorcist outside of the top ten. I don't really have a problem with it, just surprised :p I really don't think Switchblade Romance should have been placed so high though - I watched it just this Sunday and while shocking, I doubt it will be remembered in five years time. Props to Braindead though *grins*

Yep, a lot of those scared the living crap out of me when I was younger lol.

These are the movies that scared the BAJEEZUS out of me

5.Hellraiser
6.Nightmare on Elm Street

8.Psycho
9.The Howling
10.Alien
:yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

they left out alot of great B- Horror films, such as all the Creature Double Feature ones.

screaming skull
bucket of blood
last man on earth
attack of the giant leeches

That list is kind of weird... 'I spit on your grave' anyone?
But I guess that's more just disturbing than anything, and it was banned in the Uk, so nevermind lol

And I still haven't seen Susperia and I hear nothing but good things about it.

I guess Scanners isn't considered a horror flick? Went to this one when I was little and I had to cover my eyes a few times.

The shining, I prefered the remake. In the original, Jack seemed a little looney even before he went looney

I remember watching that exploding head bit on frame by frame on my VCR. Why I don't know. Maybe I just wanted to freak myself out slowly :crack:

Your avatar scared me:yikes:

They mentioned the head explodey bit in their favourite horror scenes sub section.

And The Shining is the one film on there that creeps me out the most.

How did "Embrace of the Vampire" not make the list?
While not a great film, it had some of Alysssa Milano's great assets on full display, which should make any top 50 list.

And on a serious note, Blair Witch at 14 and The Omen only an honorable mention...c'mon now. The Omen was 100x the film that Blair Witch was.

Texas Chainsaw

I have always been curious about Cannibal Holocaust. Have anyone seen it?
