Top 36 Queen Songs

Ahh, Queen. The most creative and original band ever. A legacy of hits and albums for the ages. Bone-crunching metal to Broadway. They're far too under-celebrated on this board.

Tie Your Mother Down
You And I
Somebody To Love
White Man
'39
Bohemian Rhapsody
God Save The Queen
Bicycle Race
Dead On Time
Who Needs You
It's Late
The Night Comes Down
Father To Son
Ogre Battle
Nevermore
Funny How Love Is
Brighton Rock
Stone Cold Crazy
Long Away
Millonaire Waltz
Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy
Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To...)
You're My Best Friend
Sweet Lady
Fat Bottomed Girls
Dreamer's Ball
Sheer Heart Attack
Spread Your Wings
Keep Yourself Alive
Son And Daughter
Seven Seas Of Rhye
Killer Queen
Now I'm Here
Misfire
Bring Back That Leroy Brown
In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited

dudeman, when you return from your BSS/Bloc Party weekend, I expect a response.

Have something against Queen post-Jazz? I'll pick up where you left off....Obviously they were not the same band in the 80s and 90s that they were in the 70s, but there's some good stuff there...

Sail Away Sweet Sister
Save Me
Under Pressure
I Want To Break Free
Hammer To Fall
Is This The World We Created?
Radio Ga Ga
One Vision
A Kind Of Magic
Who Wants To Live Forever

Don't forget Dragon Attack. Dragon Attack is an awesome song.

I'd throw Seaside Rendezvous on there too, because its a quaint little song.

You listed 36 Queen songs and left out Radio Ga-Ga?

Also, children of the early days of MTV, who here remembers 'Calling All Girls'? Great song.
Oh, I send a message of love for all to hear!
I haven't heard that song since about '82.

Not a huge Queen fan myself. Which song is the one that goes "Galileo/galileo" and has other parts like "frightening, frightening, very very frightnening"? Is it Bohemion Rhapsody?

Queen. Queen, along with Pink Floyd, was the first "real" band I fell in love with. I remember being ten or eleven and just blaring my father's Queen albums over and over again. I wanted to be Brian May. Played his solos with my tennis racquet...

In chronological order.

1. Father To Son
2. White Queen (As It Began)
3. Ogre Battle
4. The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke
5. The March Of The Black Queen
6. Seven Seas Of Rhye (I adore Queen II a lot. Is it obvious?)
7. Brighton Rock
8. Killer Queen
9. Flick Of The Wrist
10. Now I'm Here
11. In The Lap Of The Gods Revisited
12. Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To...)
13. Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon
14. '39
15. The Prophet's Song
16. Love Of My Life
17. Bohemian Rhapsody
18. Tie Your Mother Down
19. The Millionaire Waltz
20. White Man
21. Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together)
22. Bicycle Race
23. Don't Stop Me Now
24. Save Me
25. Radio Ga Ga
26. Hammer To Fall
27. A Kind Of Magic
28. Who Wants To Live Forever
29. The Invisible Man (cheesy as hell, but I love the solo...BRIAN MAY, BRIAN MAY!)
30. Innuendo
31. I'm Going Slightly Mad
32. Headlong
33. The Hitman
34. Bijou (my dog is named after this song )
35. It's A Beautiful Day
36. Made In Heaven

That was entirely too hard. I obviously prefer 70s Queen to 80s/90s Queen, but it's all good. I could easily have put all of A Night At The Opera down, excluding Sweet Lady. And since it seems like you're making all these list threads to make fun of, well, the list threads... How about some discussion?

Let's discuss, for instance, the chills that go down your spine when you hear that first "OHHHH COME BACK TO ME!" in The Millionaire Waltz. That song is so under-rated.

God, Freddie was just a fucking genius.

One of the single greatest scenes in cinema history is Wayne, Garth, and the guys rocking out to this song in the Mirthmobile in "Wayne's World"

hands down.

I've always been a fan of Queen, but not that big of a fan, I'll check out some more of their '70s stuff.

My father and I do the Bohemian Rhapsody rock out every time we listen to A Night At The Opera in the car.

Listen to A Night At The Opera, Sheer Heart Attack, News Of The World and Queen II on repeat, and you should be addicted in no time!
