This is the exact same post I would have made

I grew up with Springsteen in my house, but I'm only starting to get into him for myself. I've listened to Born to Run literally about 50 times in the past two months

I stole my mom's Greatest Hits cd and branched off from there.

Born to Run, Greetings..., The Wild..., and Darkness are my favorites.

^ same here, his first 4 are just brilliant...it's so hard to choose which one is my favorite..I've had to come to the difficult decision of The Wild......simply for Incident on 57th Street, Wild Billy's Circus, and New York City Serenade..

nebraska, tom joad, rising, devils, seeger I love and obsess about a lot as well.

Bruce without the E Street Band is like Iced Tea without sugar for me.

still good, but missing that extra flavor.

^

My dad is the biggest Springsteen fan ever, seriously, and he refused to see him on the last two tours, even though he was playing about 15 minutes from us, cuz he wasn't with the E Street Band :(

I am going to see Bruce in November!! he is playing here in Belfast I got his greatest hits on cd my fav is tougher than the rest

I actually prefer the song with a guitar solo as it was performed in 1975 before the album came out (Main Point show)

hopefully that made some sense:wink:

hmm, haven't heard the guitar solo version before :hmm:

http://www. .com/projects.php?pid=548818

you need to add save file to the link for it to work

just scroll down until you find jungleland and download it, lemme know what you think

this concert is probably my favorite live show of all time from any artist, so I recommend the whole thing too:drool:

coincidently enough I prefer unsweetened tea..

I definitely love Bruce with the E Street Band..and I can't get enough of the Seeger Sessions band...but there's something about his acoustic songs and renditions that is unfuckinbelievable. It's not better or worse but it's different, it presents songs in a different light...and makes me listen closer. Plus he can easily pull it off since he's a pretty darn charismatic, entertaining, and funny guy on stage which allows the music to become more intimate and brutally beautiful.

that being said
memo to bruce: however do not bring back the human touch/lucky town band!

the Seeger Sessions band is crazy awesome, I think Pender and Jimmy from the Max Weinberg 7 are in it

I hope I see him live someday, maybe on his next tour.
