Toothpaste

What kind of toothpaste do you use? I use Crest extra whitening tartar control and I like it a lot, but I wonder if there's a better toothpaste awaiting me somewhere else....so what do you use? and do you enjoy it?

Aim with fluoride, for no good reason. It tastes okay and it's always on sale at Zellers for like, 80 cents. ummmm so, yeah.

Arm&Hammer toothpaste. I love baking soda toothpaste.. so fresh and so clean.

Crest tartar control. Only the paste or mixed kind though, the gel ones gross me out.

Um Colgate something or other. We don't have Crest or Arm&Hammer here so I don't know what they're like.

Ultra brite whitening w/baking soda in 'cool mint' - it's fairly cheap and very minty!

i like original Colgate paste too...

You know, too much toothpaste will lead to Flurosis and teeth decay.

Any more than 1.5mg/day is damaging to your teeth. Now, in one brushing there is usually ~1.0 mg, of which 25-30% is absorbed whether you didn't swallow or not.
The danger, then, comes with swallowing too much tooth paste.

Watch out for children! They are prone to eating whole tubes of paste, especially those delicious new flavors. This will certainly lead to Florine toxicity if kept up!

I use Crest with Scope, it werks great as most of Crest's toothpastes do.
