Probably going to try for Kansas City.

Once again, another one of my favorite bands basically ignores the southeast.

So funny how I live near the "music city," but we never get much music there in terms of touring bands.

We have Steve Earle and the Kings of Leon to be proud of, but without Bonnaroo, we'd be without a lot of good live music in the rock genre, especially in terms of major touring acts.

Some smaller acts like to come here.

Thanks for this, Anu. I could have guessed it would be you to break the news.

I guess San Antonio is the one for me, although it's a shame I'm going to have to step into the dump, let alone the Spurs' house. Any news on when tickets go onsale?

Not that anyone besides ole Anu cares, but I'm seeing Tool in San Antonio tonight.

Nevermind. I just found out they postponed tonight do to illness.

Now I know how Axver felt.

That straight up sucks, bro. Sorry to hear it.

I'm still upset by the short setlist in Detroit and by the current tour skipping my region, so I can't see them again!

Illness!! Tool comes from a scene where "sick" is a word of praise, so what's the big deal.

Seriously though, I know it's selfish, but band illnesses can foil fan loyalty.

Well, apparently it's Maynard who is the sick one. Someone told me they have a friend who went to Houston a couple nights ago and said he sang only about 60% of the time and it was obvious he was straining. It's better they postpone because I'd rather see them at full strength. I can wait a little while longer. I've got ACL Fest this weekend so that will occupy my mind in the meantime.

And I also can't believe I spelled "due" as "do" in my last post. Poor me, I guess it was all the grief.

Since so few of us love this band, it seemed much to start a new thread. It's not like TOOL are the Arcade Fire or anything!!

But I am still trying to redeem my disappointment in Detroit last year, and it looks like they're playing the smaller places this time, which means Nashville may get lucky after all.

New dates so far:

Mar 15 : Las Vegas, NV : The Pearl : -----

I knew they couldn't ignore the south forever. Friday the 13th in B'ham, bama, and then, it looks like Manchester in June.

Maynard: redeem me from that sorry show in Detroit. Start playing longer sets.

Wow, they postponed AGAIN.

I had a deal to sell my floor seats for $300 dollars but now that's out the window.

This is ridiculous. The show could, in actuality, occur almost a YEAR after I bought the tickets if the new dates run through June/July.
