Tommy gets all the hype, but Quadrophenia has some gorgeous musical standouts, IMO....just not as many, I suppose.

Ooooh, now THIS is a poll.

Quadrophenia has long been one of my all-time favorite albums. Leagues ahead of Tommy on almost every way, in my opinion.

Not even close.

Tommy is :yuck: Some good songs...the first 10 minutes or so are really good in particular, but after that it gets sunk by lame songs and weak filler. The story is awful, and the album version is a disgrace if you've heard the Live At Leeds version.

Quadrophenia, on the other hand, is really, really, really, really good. Far better musicianship, no noodling around, great, relatable story, and 5:15.

Glad to see I'm not alone. I almost threw a :reject: in the original post!
