Seriously, they put Robert Plant and Neal Peart on the list??

Apparently Blender hasn't turned a radio on in the last 30 years...

I don't think he is.

He's in New York.

While I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis is a much worse lyricist than any of these guys.

Oh man. You know those cheesy highlight reel things they do on sitcoms when the writers run out of anything even remotely interesting to say? If Interference were a sitcom, that moment would be like one of the very first moments referenced. Second only to Fake Edge.

But anyway, I heard Bono definitely wasn't on a plane when he was in New York, so back to how lame that list is. Sting isn't the best lyric writer on earth, no, but he surely isn't the worst. I mean, come on:

What you gonna do with all that junk, all that junk inside your jeans?
I'm gonna make make make you scream, make you scream, make you scream

Yeah. I'd take "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You" over that tripe any day.

I know what you mean. Interference randomness is probably the greatest thing....EVER. As for this list...it's bullshit. Sting is a great lyricist, not the best as you said, but he's definitely talented. This whole thing makes me think some 16 year old stoner kid who can't think deeper than "I'm hot 'cause I'm fly, you ain't 'cause you not" compiled this list.

And, honestly, if Chris Martin isn't on this list, it's worth nothing.

You cut me down a tree
And brought it back to me
And that's what made me see
Where I was going wrong

You put me on a shelf
And kept me for yourself
I can only blame myself
You can only blame me

And I could write a song
A hundred miles long
Well that's where I belong
And you belong with me
