Tin Machine survivor - Tin Machine & Tin Machine II

Some might say time has crawled as I strive to complete this competition. Which would be funny, as Time Will Crawl will be joining us in the playoffs (Peef, you might want to look up the meaning of that word).

Now we move on to Tin Machine. I'm combining the two albums in the interest of time, and obviously no song from either record will have a chance of winning.

Vote for one song, one goes through. Also share your thoughts... was Tin Machine a worthwhile exercise? Do you like it more than several other Bowie efforts?

Yes, I like the first Tin Machine more than probably 5-6 Bowie albums.

Selecting only one song from two albums is weak-ass shit, especially when those subpar 80s albums we've been enduring recently each got to send one through.

Anyway, I'm split between Heaven's In Here and Crack City.

And it's very much worth reading about Bowie's purpose in forming the band in the first place:

I'll try and listen to both today. At least one tonight, minimum.

Which tracklisting is "correct"? The vinyl, or CD?

The running order is the same, save for two bonus tracks that were squeezed in on "side 2" on the CD version.

I mean, they're not essential.
