If one put this record alongside the latest BRMC record, we may be able to have a very rockin party:rockon:

I've only heard 'Underdogs' and 'Your Love Alone'. Quite like what I've heard, and will of course be buying the thing when it comes out.

If anyone can provide me a nice linky to preview though...:sexywink:

I find it immensely bewildering that at least on here, there are very few manics fans:hmm:

link please, too? bayou12780 at hotmail dot com.

just found out the cooper temple clause split up. a little bummed...

"However, the band announced they would be going their separate ways on 24th April 2007 and the band are officially split."

wonder if this is a joke - they were supposed to play at Camden Crawl in London apr 19-20.

on the bright side, BRMC will be at 9:30 club on june 2.

i'd like a burger and fries with that order...
thanks dude!

Your Love Alone is Not Enough is the only song I have so far from the new album. I love it, and I hear the rest is excellent. I'll be getting it.

this album could be the best of 2007 so far.
careful or canadiens will sic win on you. i need a few more listens.. reserving judgement. so far not really grabbing me like neon bible and baby81 did on first listen.

Thanks for spamming me and sending me an album I didn't ask for, U2Douche.

I'm going to listen to it just to spite you.

dudeman called me and told me to listen to this.

I'm 2/3 through "Send Away The Tigers" and I'm in love.

Huge, bombastic, grand, massive, anthemic, guitar rock.

you're not familiar with manics already, brau?

I've gotten a couple of their albums. Saw JDB acoustic in NYC a few years back.

I'd actually forgotten about them.

you just helped remind me.

Ok I'm downloading this now, thanks U2Man.

Can't wait for it to be released, been spinning This Is My Truth and EMG in recent weeks.

JDB is one of the best rock singers around at the moment, in my opinion.

Edit: And oh yeah I started a thread on this a month ago and it died after four posts...I don't get any love round here. :(

fuck everything.
this is one of the best things i've EVER HEARD.
EVER.
and i have amazingly good taste. probably the BEST taste.
trust me.
neon bible (as good as it is) smells like nyc bus exhaust compared to this (nyc bus exhaust smells like bad, industrial farts, for those of you who don't know).
holyfuckingshit. i absolutely love this album. and if you haven't visited it yet, check out the manics' official site, for one of the most engaging, entertaining, inspiring reads you'll find from a major band. look in the band section for nicky wire's tale of the album, then click on the 'about the album' link for a track by track...

thanks a million, U2man.
