Ally, I know we work near each other (from previous posts) - I was walking out of the N/R on Rector on my way to work and not only did I step in a puddle, but a car service car went by and splashed a little muddy water on my foot. That just started off this glorius day, I of course wore tan pants like an idiot and now have mud splashes all the way up my calves to my knees. I look like a fool.

phooey is all I have to say. I know we need the rain, bt this is just so damn depressing down here. I walked past "the site" to get some Chinese for lunch and realized how dreary downtown has been these days.

I hope the Spring brings more happy faces and nicer weather.

This is just too weird...

*sigh*

ouizy-- where do you work? I used to take the N/R in from Brooklyn and get off at Cortlandt so I became familiar with that area.

All you wonderful New Yorkers are lucky it's rain.

It's snowing in MA, on the first day of spring

Of course, our accurate forecasters were saying yesterday we would get a dusting to a couple of inches. Well, we did have a mild, unusually snow free winter. But still-ugh!!!!

Its a gorgeous day here in Sunny California.. first day of spring and yes the birds are chirping, the air is crisp...

* sniffffffffffffffffffff

i know, today of all days i had to get "dressed up" for work (i'm usually business casual) because we have clients visiting. so of course i was freezing walking to work in high heels and a skirt... blarg! ah well... we *do* need the rain! maybe this means that june/july will be nice and sunny!

btw, i take the 1/2 train to Wall Street, so we're right near each other! it is rather depressing down here, but it's also MUCH better than it was last fall (when the national guard was stationed on every corner!).

and gina marie, i'm sorry about the snow! why is it that all winter we had no precipitation and now that it's supposed to be getting warmer and sunny we're all getting deluged??? oh well. at least we got some good U2 news today!!! (see EYKIW forum)

Heh - we probably pass each other on the way to work every day.

I work at the top of Wall street near Broadway (14 Wall)

It is raining here today.

Anyone know why that Baldwin brother says that in the Usual Suspects?

*sigh*

Very warm, very sunny. However, it is supposed to be in the 20s in the next few days. Boo.

"You must not look down on someone just 'cos they are 14 years old. When I was that age I listened to the music of John Lennon and it changed my way of seeing things, so I'm just glad that 14 year olds are coming to see U2 rather than group X." - Bono, 1988

And a much needed rain.
