The 21 year old edgy folk poet who has been turning the UK music scene on its ear

or so the sticker on the CD tells me.

My brother is burning Thea Gilmore's CD "Rules for Jokers" now. He says I will probably like her. I've been reading the lyrics and I'm quite impressed already...Compared to others around her age.

Anyone into her / heard of her / know anything about her?

Until I saw the part about the CD sticker, I was thinkin', "Damn, is Mona her PR woman or something??"

Oh...and I've never heard of her...

I've heard four or so songs by here that I like. I was looking for one of her albums a couple of months ago, but then forgot about it when I couldn't find it.

I think she has a more recent album than Rules for Jokers, but I can't remember the name of it, and it may not have been released in the US.
