Any fans around this joint? If you don't like this show then you're obviously a complete bastard.

Superb show, and really threw Ade, Rik and Ben Elton into the public eye.

Tho Ade and Rik even surpassed this show imo the following decade, with 'Bottom'.

I'm a fan of The Young Ones. I've seen all the episodes a million times.

I love it when Rick is The People's Poet:

What do you think you're doing, pig?
Do you really give a fig, pig?
And what's your favourite sort of gig, pig?
Barry Manilow
Or the black and white minstrel show?

You can find more people's poems here

Gotta love the musical performances as well

My favorites are Madness and Motorhead.

for me it was on really late on the PBS sister station. Pgh had 2 for awhile: WQED for whatever and WQEX for great Britcoms. From maybe 10pm until early in the morning they showed everything! Benny Hill, Fawlty Towers, Allo Allo, French and Saunders, Mr. Bean and....

I loved them all, but this is a total favorite!
