The Who have announced plans for a massive worldwide tour this year. Who guitarist Pete Townshend revealed the details over the weekend. "There will be a tour," he said. "We already have European festival dates slotted in June and July."
Pete also revealed that the tour will then continue through to America and then on to the rest of the world in 2007, hopefully including Australia.
Townshend also let it slip that a new Who album could be hitting the stores in the not too distant future. "There will be a new CD sometime in the [English] early summer. I know I've cried wolf a few times, but this time I have committed because I have about enough music for a new CD, and I'm still producing."
