Remember what happens when the furnace hasn't been running all Summer ?? 
Finally, turned on the heat ... and it smells like burnt gas.
Totally ridiculous, I had to crack open a couple of windows just to air out the smell.
At least, within a day or so ... the furnace will burn out that odor and all will be up-n-running fine again.

Oh, I know everyone goes through this ... I just can't understand why there has never been a stop-that-smell deodorizer or something, maybe even a cleaner to use to stop that odor from happening. There's times where I feel like the furnace picked up a disgusting habit and I wanna yell "Put out that cigarette" !!
Now, how can a furnace smoke a cigarette ?? This smell must be getting to me.
At least, there isn't a breeze outside ... so the cold air isn't blowing in through my open windows.
