Perhaps not in the realm of innovation, but in the sheer output of exhilarating songs, Oasis have to be right up there...

But it mostly ignores their 2nd album, "Modern Life Is Rubbish", which contains their masterstroke "Chemical World."

Their glory period was 94-95 when they put out 2 outstanding albums:

Parklife (1994)
The Great Escape (1995)

You can't go wrong with either one.

Avoid their recent albums. The guitar player quit in 2000 or so. He was 1/2 the band.
