Listen to "Hey Jude" and "Let it Be" back-to-back, in either order. If you do not feel peacefully happy when both songs are done, you have no soul.

I just had one of the most depressing conversations ever with an ex-girlfriend. On the point of tears, these two tunes happened to come on my iTunes back-to-back. Let it Be comes first, with its message that everything's okay. Then Hey Jude tells you that not only is everything okay, but everything's going to get better. By the end, I was smiling, and everything was okay.

Try it. It's better than Prozac

Well, I love at least one of those songs, but I'm not sure I listen to music for the 'message'. Everything is NOT ok. But there can still be moments of ... oh I give up. I don't have the energy to articulate anymore.

that's a great idea

also, from my own personal experience, listen to Qkumba Zoo....they are to happy what Michael Jackson is to crazy.

Well, you don't listen to music because it doesn't inspire any feelings, right?
