Thanks. Either way, I'll be okay. I just want a resolution one way or another.

Overall it was a good night, but then we went to a bar and it went downhill from there. I met a nice guy (after dealing with the jerks and creeps), but as usual, it goes nowhere, long story

Isn't that always the way?

I've decided I'm done dealing with fuckwits, at least until next year.

Well said

I've gotten out of having to go out tonight, and instead I want to kill my neighbour. For the last hour I've had to listen to him spinning his wheels trying to get out of the driveway. Most.Annoying.Sound.Ever

Do you have snow?? The inch we had melted today, now we have none - and I'm only an hour down the 403.

It was unreal RB. Worst snowfall in 30 yrs. public transportation shut down, mail cancelled (a first). Malls not opened till noon and then closed a couple of hrs later. Uni, college and all schools closed. and it was just this area, 25 mins away they had a couple of inches and could still see grass

Check this out VP:

I had a gazebo ($$$$) on my deck - crushed under the weight of the snow it's a pile of twisted metal. I'm dreading tmw, I'm afraid I'll have ice damming on my extension and it will leak in my kitchen window. I put a tarp up a couple of weeks ago to act as a membrane, but it got pulled off in the wind before the storm - I had gotten stuck on the roof for 2.5 hours that day when the ladder fell, so that was a total waste of time. Fun times - move here everyone, it's great, really

That's crazy, and so typical of this area! When did it start? We're actually less than an hour away, more like 50 minutes. I was able to barbecue tonight.

Sorry to hear you had damage. Will your home insurance cover it?

Thanks Kat. I feel like we've been in a holding pattern for so long now, and that if it doesn't happen now, it never well. I'm ready for the next phase of my life, y'know?

Hey Reg!

I've gotten into a mess myself. For some reason I keep thinking I'm too wise to make mistakes

Started Thurs night.

If I tried to BBQ tonight I would have had to crawl under here:

to get to the BBQ

I'm a Murphys Law incarnate person, so I save the insurance for the big stuff...if I claimed everything I wouldn't get ins anymore lol

I'm glad you're going to be able to move on one way or the other VP
