Big Doves fan here, Phil.

They've released 3 albums....Caught by the River is from their 2nd album.

Check out the song "Catch the Sun", it's from their first album and the song that sort of put them on the map.
You are just a wealth of knowledge. Thanks!

Let me know if you listen to it/like it, I'm curious.

Snowden is another cool song of theirs, from their last album.

Oh yeah! I've heard Catch the Sun before. I love this song! I'm listening to the free preview clips on their website. I like what I'm hearing.

Problem is, how much is 7.99 in I think Euro's?

Yeah, so Catherine Wheel is pretty much ridiculously awesome. I dl'd ferment last night, I had Chrome. I've had it on for the past couple of hours and they are brilliant.

I hate when bands this good don't get recognition, same with HUM, yet 30 Seconds to Mars is rippin up the MTV. There is no justice.

This, more than anything, we agree on, Beav. Their last album, Wishville, was not good, but I love everything before. Of all the bands I like that did not make it big, this is the one that bothers me the most. I saw them live, back to back nights, at a small club in LA and it was fucking amazing. The first night, they opened with Strange Fruit and it was just awesome. Chrome is my favorite of theirs, Ferment a close second...Shallow is my favorite song of theirs, LOVE the guitar solo there, very ethereal. Yeah Beav.

I miss 120 Minutes. That was some good shit right there.

I only know like, on CW song. I know, it's a crime.

Oh, shame on you, LMPA.

120 minutes was great.....does anyone recall "Post-Modern MTV"? Same deal as 120 minutes, really, but I recall it being a little bit better. Hell, when M2 launched it was great....that's where I discovered the Doves and Elbow and a few other bands. Now it's MTV spillover.

120 Minutes rocked. I wish I was more into that music when it was on. I didn't like the weird stuff till after high school, maybe even after college.

Same here. I did love Liquid Television, though.

That show rocked.

I'm the only one old enough to remember Post Modern MTV, sad.

Yeah, right. Who knew Jordan Catalano would become so angry. He shoulda stayed with Angela. Now he's beating up hobbits. Jackass.

Liquid TV was a cartoon, right?
