Liquid TV was a few cartoons under an umbrella title. That's where Aeon Flux started, or so I recall, could be wrong....kind of like "Adult Swim" is an umbrella title.

Yep, I remember being what, 12 or 13 and absolutely fascinated with Aeon Flux.

Then fast forward a few years and Charlize Theron completely fucked it up.

Aeon Flux was cool. I actually thought the movie was real good, I didn't understand why people beat it down so much.

Every girl I knew thought she was Angela Chase. I wanted more of them to be like Rayanne.

Ok is it just me or does the grammar of the title of that popcorn thread bug the piss out of you?

Shouldn't it be "isn't popcorn healthy?"

Every time I think you have impeccable taste, like when you extoll the virtues of the BBC version of the Office, or worship the splendour that is Catherine Wheel, you ruin it with a Eurotrip appreciation thread or enjoying the Aeon Flux film.

I enjoyed the Aeon Flux cartoon, thought it was pretty cool.

Post Modern TV was their first go at "alternative" music, once they'd wandered towards all mainstream music/scripted programming. It was an oasis in a desert of shit.

Rayenne didn't scare the shit out of you? Interesting...

I was at the Sick and Twisted Animation Festival when Beavis and Buthead made it's debut. Little did I know that night how it would annoy me for years to come.

If an american had made the title of the popcorn thread it would annoy me a bit. I'm amazed at how well people from other countries here know English. Makes me feel stupid really

Few things plague me more than my being monolingual. When I'm overseas, it embarasses the living shit out of me. Meeting people that speak 4-5 languages fluently, while I speak Bronx is humbling.

That's what makes it endearing....

And isn't popcorn plural?

It's Ricki Rachman...get it straight toots...

And MTV did a horrible job with all that crap (HBB included). You know that Nirvana was on HBB when "Smells Like Teen..." came out?

120 Minutes still sux, but I you April... So it's cool.

No way. She was a bit dramatic at times, but she was cool and funny. And she liked to have fun. Angela was cool, but very self conscious, I'm sure she grew out of it though. And the other one was kind of annoying, I don't even know her name.

NSW - Eurotrip is awesome. How can you not find that movie brilliant? Ugh. Aeon Flux, I liked the movie. I dunno, it was entertaining. I think what happens is I read all these bad reviews so I have low expectations, and then I get the movie and it's not awful and I'm pleasantly surprised? I dunno. I liked it.

Ricky Rachtman! Oh man that guy annoyed the shit outta me. So did Matt Pinfield. What a couple of hacks.

The popcorn thread title irks me. Yes.
