So here's the scenario:

I spent last weekend at home alone with my cat because my parents are out of town indefinitely taking care of my newborn nephew. My dad was supposed to fly home today for a few days to take care of some business, but apparently my Mom is sick so he's staying in Indianapolis.

I was looking forward to a weekend here at school with my friends, but with my Dad not being home that means my dearest kitty will have to go even longer without someone home (our neighbor is taking care of her, but it's just not the same as having someone home to be with her).

So, do I go home again this weekend and miss out on fun to be with my cat, or do I stay here with my friends and make my cat deal with it?

I'm leaning toward going home. I can't stand her being alone for so long.
