A whole 3 years of patriotism, eh?

Mine waxes and wanes. I can get so freakin frustrated and pissed off, particularly over the last 7 years, but in the end it's my frustration that draws me to politics so I can at least attempt to make a difference.

I really ought to be doing homework. I have to do a 3 page outline outlining a 10 page paper I'll have to write on public administration..............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I think I may take the angle of the media's role in public administration, i.e. Calling out FEMA after Katrina.

The NY Times is reporting McCain MAY HAVE had an affair with a lobbyist!

WASHINGTON — Early in Senator John McCain’s first run for the White House eight years ago, waves of anxiety swept through his small circle of advisers.

A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, in his offices and aboard a client’s corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself — instructing staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of anonymity.

I don't think this will have much of an impact, but it sure will piss off a lot of evangelical republicans IF it is true.
