Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish. Although there are many recipes, it is normally made with the following ingredients: sheep's 'pluck' (heart, liver and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach for approximately an hour. It somewhat resembles stuffed intestines

Wasn't Stevie Ray Vaughn American?

the alright man part wouldn't be the issue, it would be the take it easy part that would be the problem. It negates any discussion we have just had and is very dismissive, esp. if the convo was of any importance. I would then ask you which part of what we discussed you felt was problematic enough for you to tell me to take it easy, and did you not feel that you could meet the objective that we discussed and was that your way of telling me to lower my expectations etc. etc.

Oh, the "take it easy" is just how I say goodbye. I was more focused on the "man" part.
"OK, the call is over." "OK, cool. Take it easy."
As opposed,
"Mike, What is this shit? THis is awful. I have no idea what this means and it's - " Whoa, dude, take it easy."

See?

Fuck, I have no willpower.

Don't worry, haven't done anything but I hope there's something else to focus on tonight when I get home.

oh that's no problem, you made it sound like every single conversation ended like that, regardless of how serious.

like if one of my reports and I were focusing on stuff they needed to improve and then they ended that with take it easy = not good.

just general business flow conversation and then take it easy = fine.

the man part wouldn't bother me, but there are others around here who'd be all over it. I like to pick my battles a little better than that.

I can text you and make it look like your getting texts from people. Which you would be, really. Cause technically, I am a person.

Oh, ok then, cool. Thanks. I just thought I sounded kinda stupid, like a burnout or something, nd it got me thinking. If I didn't like what I was hearing, though, I use "whatever" as my dismissal. Sometimes preceeded by a couple of "yeah yeah"s.

on the haggis. Fuck it, I'll do it anyway. Worse comes to worse I'll go all American and throw a tantrum until they bring me something edible.
