meh, it's ok. I have been to plenty of Cubs games. I should just stop complaining.

When they make it to the World Series, however, I will be there. I might be 85, but I'll be there.

I would love to live to 85!

How come you're not a Tigers fan? You from Chicago? Are you weeping that NSW lives there now? I would be. Shit, I had to go to therapy when he said he might visit NY.

My dad grew up in Chicago and I was born about an hour away, but in Wisconsin. So I guess I should be a Brew Crew fan.

I'm only here in Michigan temporarily until I finish my teaching degree. I hold no sport ties here. In fact, I do not like the Pistons. The Tigers are ok. I sympathize with them in their struggles as a team up until recently I guess.

oh if only April was here. Bashing Detroit can be so much fun.

I had to like Detroit for just a year, when Fernando Vina traded there from St Louis.

I have to make a confession. When I lived in Iowa for 4 years(high school), the local sports radio station got a contract with the St. Louis Cardinals. So almost every game was on to listen to.

I had a girlfriend who lived a half hour away from me and music put me to sleep driving home. So any time they had a late game, I listened to them then. Plus, I worked on a paint crew and brought my walkman radio. This was when McGwire was there.

My confession is I really kind of became a fan because of how much I ended up following them. AND, their radio play by play announcer was so awesome. I wish I remembered his name.

That all was a huge set up for this huge letdown of a comment. Vina was such a cool player...

I dunno. It was some guy with an older raspy type voice. He made the game exciting. It might have been one of those Bucks

Ok, just listened to Joe Buck. Should have known better. I know him and it wasn't him. Maybe it was the Mad Hungarian.

I do believe it was Mike Shannon.

Good, fellas. No complaints. Just chillin, waiting to see whether the Islanders keep Ryan Smyth. Shit like that. You know.

I finished Season 3 of the Wire. I did not expect what happened to stringer. Omar is awesome, and the Bow Tie guy too. Can't wait til I get Season 4.

How's the new job?
Job is great so far. Challenging, but, that's a good thing. The 17th employee started today, 85 or so to go. Thanks for asking.

I fucking told you that the Wire was fantastic.

Phil, don't hate the playa.....
