Mostly for Beav: Just rewatching the Bowie portions of the Gilmour dvd. I've never seen Bowie. I need to see him, like, yesterday. If I knew how to rip audio from a DVD, I'd send you the songs.

That is all.

ETA - nevermind, that is not all.

Kat, I'll reply to the PM soon, promise, the past few days have been crazy.

Now that is all. Really.

NSW, since you're here, the other day, I also got the dvd, Elton 60 - Live at MSG. I saw parts of it on tv, but the dvd includes the full concert, plus bonus features of performances from the 70's - gonna watch that in a bit.

That sounds awesome. I should buy it. I have yet to buy Popmart, so maybe I'll order the both of these tomorrow.

How goes it, M'Lady Punk?

You still call me that.

I haven't gotten Popmart yet either, is that bad? I went out to get Gilmour specifically, Elton John was an impulse buy, while I was there.

Things are fairly well, thanks, been kinda busy lately, which is good, I guess. How about you?

Just watching the bonus features from the Gilmour dvd. I saw parts of it already from the DVD premier I saw at the theatre...but there are two music videos from his recent album on this. Wow, it's weird...in the vid for On an Island, a great deal of it is just images shot with a blue tinge, but the parts that feature him and David Crosby and Graham Nash...it's like a video with three old guys. Where would that even get played?? I've never seen it on tv before. He's more talented than 99% of the young folk out there, and yet there's no media attention...it's sad.

It was a miracle. A gift from NJ. Hallelujah!

I want to see him too. He was at the Pixies show I went to a few years ago, but he was just sitting watching the show. He didn't perform. That would have been awesome if he did though.

Of course I do.

I hope it's not bad, since I've yet to purchase it. I do want it, but, just have not gotten around to it.

Glad things are at least fairly well. I'm ok, thanks. Working a lot, but, it's fun. Looking forward to a normal 5-day workweek, though, which should start around March or so. Fall weather finally seems to be starting tonight, so that's good. Benn way too hot here for October. I want Autumn.

Still haven't reallly listened to the Pixies that I got. I need to make it a priority, if both you and Bowie like them.

NSW, still here? - Duh. I see that you are.

I'm thinking about starting a poll.

The poll would be simple:

"Whose obsession is stronger -

Muldfield for Battlestar Galactica

or

Xavi for Radiohead"

Well, to answer that, find out if Xavi would ask his favorite actor to use Radiohead as inspiration for his acting in his next film.

Or maybe see how Muldfield feels about Battlestar Galactica being streamed for free via the internet, in Israel.
