It wasn't actually Philly that held us up. I think it was a couple of things:
1) The directions were bad. The best way to go is Blue Route to 95. For some reason, the directions they printed out had us going to Valley Forge first, then taking 276 to 476 to 76, which is absurd.
2) We stopped for gas in West Philly.
3) The traffic on the Main Line was pretty bad.
4) I slightly overestimated, we left at 25 of 11, got there around quarter after 12, so.... hour and 40 minutes.
5) I live about 35 minutes from Center City anyway.
So, it was a mixture of things. We actually left really early expecting that something would go wrong.
