Pshaw, come on ... a storm in the northeast always gets the lead story - we hardly ever get noticed out here on the upper left coast! We have rain and flooding and mudslides and hurricane-force wind; you have all the snow.
Although the first storm that came through this weekend brought lots of snow. Even my neighborhood, which is close to the water and doesn't see much snow, saw quite a bit of it.

Thankfully it's all melted now, and it's pouring. However that means flooding, which isn't so great.

I dunno ... I'm sure they take a trip to Aberdeen (Kurt Cobain's hometown - there's really no reason to go there unless you're just passing through to get to Ocean Shores), seek out the home where Cobain popped his clogs, go to the fountain at the Seattle Center where all the weepy flannel-wearers had a big vigil and Courtney Love called him an asshole while reading his suicide note or whatever.
I think a lot of the grunge landmarks (i.e., pre-Nevermind) that used to be clubs have become other businesses now, if they're still around.
I'm glad grunge is gone.
