I find FYM to be such a silly place. I like those few people that think they can prove or disprove an entire's generation's worth of debate with one, clear sentence. There's an air of "BOOM. I just find it sorta pretensious (sp). Like mostly it's civil and healthy debate, which is nice, but then there are the super aggressive battling the super sympathetic ("We should cook his testicles, make him eat them, then for lunch, repeat with his child's kidney." "No, that's barbaric. He doesn't deserve that. He only killed 8 people and that's because his gerbil told him too. Clearly he needs prozac and a library with a hammock.") And then the know it alls, the lovely One Word Answer people, ("So?" THANK YOU EINSTEIN!) the libertarians (I don't eben know what that means), liberals, conservatives, oh my god. STFU.

Yeah, I found it I think. Slow down, lady. Some people worry too much. Insecurity is the root of all evil - remember that.

Sometimes it's informative, but I have a tough time posting anything serious in there. Everything that pops in my head is sarcastic or outright mean, but I can't help it. I'm amazed at how uptight people can be, how serious they can take themselves. Re. Lax.

I believe there was a day where it was banned altogether, but I could be wrong. I think it was at the start of the war.

I only post in there a handful of times, and even then I can't bring myself to really throw myself into a debate of any sort.

Yeah, and it adds a bit of irony to the whole thing. It's not a debate on the issue at hand, it's a recurring debate. It's like politics. Yet I'm sorta drawn to it.

It freaks me out too. My friend was a huge fan of the show, and it was more her thing. I just was stoked to be on TV, albeit very briefly.
