Don't know about Dell; I've owned two HP Pavilion laptops.

Snow I have a Toshiba Satellite and haven't had very good luck with it. I may be unusual and "hard" on computers but I wouldn't buy another one of these. I have always heard good things about Toshiba's though so maybe it's this particular model.

nsw I read your last post in nhl thread. That they get great local coverage. I grew up watching hockey as a kid. Now it's hard to find a home that even gets the games so is it just so.cal? Maybe it's the structure of the cable packages locally?

We had OLN/versus years ago then to keep it so we could watch the tour de france our bill was going to skyrocket.

FSN West airs 35-45 Ducks games a year. An OTA carries other games. There are over 1,100 NHL games a year televised locally, domestically.

Make sure to use a creditcard that gives you rewards points. Pays off later (sometimes).

BTW I have been on hold with Amex for the laast 30 minutes

And Reg, play the damn CD

Another reason to be glad I'm Cdn - between the CBC (Hockey Night in Canada), TSN and Sportsnet (the latter two being cable), there is plenty of hockey coverage here
