LM, I hope it's just an anomaly, but, please do get it looked at.

Off to eat dinner, kids. Made right here in the apartment. And it will be healthy. :)

Later, and, again, thanks for the support coupled with the laughs.

Are you talking old school? My sister had it a couple of years ago, and it was really easy - very small incision, and not too much pain at all.

no - last year and last month. two girls at work and both had all sorts of complications and infections and it seemed to go on forever. London is pretty is to date medically speaking so that's weird theirs were so crappy compared to your sisters.

Wow, that IS weird. And you do have some top-notch facilities there, both my mom and dad have been treated for various things at London hospitals.

I'll try to get some sleep. I'm usually pretty good about it, 7-8 hours every night on average.

get it checked anyway. you can't fuck around with your eyesight if you are lucky to have it in the first place :madwife:

Pfan, that is brilliant.

 Fine, I'll get it checked. At least knowing I'm out of danger will give me some extra peace of mind.

After all the Def Leppard talk in here the other day, this is kind of funny. Yesterday, I heard on the radio that they're playing Copps in Hamilton with Styx and REO Speedwagon, then today I got a presale notice e-mailed to me (I'm signed up for the venue's newsletter).

:hmm:

I looked on Ticketmaster, and it wasn't listed. I think so far there's only Copps, Montreal, and somewhere out west.

Did you see them summer '05 at JLC? I had tickets for that, but sold them to buy more U2 tickets.

that sounds about right actually. it was a great show. i think I saw REO speedwagon at harris park for free as well that summer. good show as well. I didn't think I knew any of their songs but I did.

hmmm, hopefully they swing by here, so I can be too broke to go see them as well.

do you go to many shows at copps?

Not all that many, really. They probably only have big rock acts there a handful of times a year. The thing is, at Copps, it's really easy to get good tickets for shows. People seem not to want to go there, they'd rather go to London or Toronto, it seems. I could have gotten 3rd row floors for Elton John about 10 minutes into the presale, when I saw him last year. His ACC show sold out in minutes.

Good effort, but this chart is rudimentary. The color scheme is hurtful and the 2D? What is this, 1987? Is that Pour Some Sugar on Me playing in the background? This chart needs to get in the lane, box out and look for a quick outlet pass. C+ for chart; A- for categories.

NSW - I don't know exactly how to proceed on the news presented at the Doctors office so...good luck in 2 days, I guess. I hope you don't need a visit from Doc Cochrane. Cool. Well done on the haiku.

LemonMelon - I have no idea what you said about your eyes, but get that shit checked out.

Carlos - I think that was very nice of you wishing NSW a good feeling in the ballsack. That's a real friend thing to say. I'm moved. <--- If testicles could hug, I bet they'd look like that. :)

REO Speedwagon. lol.

Speaking of 80's rock....I saw Styx at the LA Co fair a few years back and they were very good.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing them, for nostalgia's sake. They had some good songs! It's Tommy Shaw who's no longer with them, isn't it? Or Dennis DeYoung, or whatever his name is?

I'm assuming REO Speedwagon would open. I think I could take a pass for them. don't really need to hear Keep On Loving you.

I think Dennis DeYoung has a solo career, VP.

I had enough of REO Speedwagon back in the 80s, personally. I could live without hearing Riding the Storm Out yet again.

Thanks  It must have been him that was touring with that former Supertramp guy a year or so back, then. I couldn't remember which one it was.

Hmm...I've been doing a bunch of reading on what action to take concerning my eye issue. It appears that most of my symptoms are pretty normal (which is comforting) but still warrant a checkup. Not sure if I could find a specialist around here :slant:, so I might just try a basic optometrist visit and see if they can refer me to someone. :hmm:

PS: Def Leppard rocks.

All those dirty words (jusqua la fin)
They make us look so dumb (en plein soleil)
Weve been drinking far too much (jusqua la fin)
And neither of us mean what we say (en plein amour)

Well you and i
Collapsed in love
And it looks like we might have made it
Yes, it looks like weve made it to the end

What happened to us? (jusqua la fin)
Soon it will be gone forever (en plein soleil)
Infatuated only with ourselves (jusqua la fin)
And neither of us can think straight anymore. (en plein amour)
