I'm going with a group, and we'll be working there. Mainly in AIDS hospitals, and doing sports and music with kids.

I didn't mean to be all Debbie Downer about it. I think in cases like that, the best thing to do is be aware, which you are, and just take whatever precautions the people familiar with the area tell you to take, and you'll be fine.

It's about how in the late 60's - early 70's, a couple in London bought a lion cub in a department store (wtf??) and raised him for a year, then he got too big and they decided to take him to Africa so he could learn to live in the wild. It's an amazing story, you should read it!
