it took my brother 6 hours yesterday to set up my network with the new computer and like new laptop. I don't know where to begin with setting them up.

So he didn't set them up? Or you need to do something else? Once it's set up, it should just "work" when you turn the computers on. It's a wireless network?

the computers now talk to each other and the printer though I haven't really tested it.

but I've got to install all the programs on them. Firefox, itunes my email still isn't set up... all that stuff. I miss my bookmarks I downloaded norton and can't get rid of factory installed macafee and the two of them are battling it out blocking each other Macafee doesn't want to leave even though I've removed it several times. it's like aol it's still there

I'd say an hour to rip a CD means something is wrong. Unless it's a mixed CD with a ton of MP3, but even then, even then an hour seems way too long.

Better than last night, for sure. I'm still a little sniffley and stuffed up, but I feel fine otherwise, and I'm not coughing anymore. I think this should be gone by the weekend.

I'm actually starting to get some work done, now. I just read another 20 pages in the last half hour or so.
