If I still had premium, I could find the thread where she talked about her being sooooo poor, yet she has money to go buy Bono's clothing line.

Schmeg might have it saved under a favorite though. Schmeg "met" her in Chicago. There is a hilarious shot from Good Morning America where Jamilla pushes past Schmeg and a few other Interferencers, and Schmeg roles her eyes.

These are my two favourite passages from that thread:

She felt the need to write CoeXisT and refer(red) this way. It's quite sad. I wonder what it is about U2, and Bono specifically, that brings this out in people. I'm sure this is quite common among other celebrities/ artists, but I think some U2 fans take things way too seriously and are over the top with their fandom.

I lurk on atease and UKK( Arcade Fire) from time to time and, while it's not enough for me to get a feel for the place and get to know people there, I'm sure that those boards have similar obssessive fans, although probably not to the extreme that exists on Interference.

U2 is the biggest band in the world afterall.

There are nut cases like this in every aspect of entertainment (including sports). If there wasn't, you wouldn't find sites like Interference, UKK and atease.

How the hell is that supposed to help to get the woman's freedom back? And she kept referring to her as The Lady, which cracked my shit up, because all I could think of was The Lady Chablis from the movie Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil.
That was a classic! She is on par with U2kitten.

Well, I see your point. It's just that I don't see this type of behaviour when I go to concerts/events other than U2.

The question I have is, do they know that they are crazy, but their lives are so meaningless its not worth changing or are they oblivious to their insanity?

I still shake my head in wonder at that one. For me, being locked in my house for 24 hours is like a mini-vacation, certainly nothing akin to being imprisoned in Burma. Wtf?

Can't believe it got locked and hauled away to the pound.

I know that SOMEONE ELSE deserved that more than the thread.
