In fifteen minutes, I will have been awake for 60 consecutive hours (exactly 2 and a hal days), partially willingly and partially because I couldn't sleep when I wanted to.

Sleep deprivation is an interesting experience. I'm almost tempted to ride it out and see how far I can go with it, but I think the lure of my bed will win out as soon as I'm done class today.

Hallucinations have started on a low scale - lots of things feel a little off, or I'll notice something moving out of the corner of my eye that isn't there when I look at it.

Roll on 5:30 pm...only 12 and a half hours to go!

Holy shit, I've never wanted to sleep so badly in my life.

I'm definitely seeing things now - mostly just random points of light and squiggly spots in my vision though, not anything insane. Things jump around in my peripheral vision and then scramble back into place when I look right at them. It's very weird, and I feel a lot like I'm in a daydream.

That being said, I'm absolutely going to bomb this test I have at 3:30, I think. Staying up to read was my intention in the first place, since I didn't get nearly enough reading done before last night/this morning. But at this point none of what I'm reading is actually sinking in. Red Bulls have lost their effect. What sucks is that I could have just slept through it rather than stay awake another night.

Now I'm really considering just going to bed rather than force myself to stay up another 8 hours so that I can get a D instead of an F. It's only worth 10% of the term mark but I haven't exactly started strong in this class.

Ok, I need to come in here and vent.

Ok, I'm done now.

Be back when I'm in a better mood.

Dave - go to sleep. Maybe? Might cure the whole "being tired" thing.
