Reg

Figures we'd get the music geeks to plan out our soundtrack. He already planned the itinerary.

Hey Boss

The end of Saturn and Neptune's opposition

Saturn's opposition to Neptune is over at last. For about a year, we have all been under the influence of this awkward alignment. The last time we came under a similar celestial spell was at the end of the Eighties. Symbolically, it represents a clash between idealism and pragmatism; an argument between beliefs and cultures; a conflict between the way things are and the way that most folk wish they could be. During the opposition, the world gets tense. Afterwards, there's a breathing out, moving on... and reaping the benefit of the brave choices that have now been made.

You know, you read that stuff and you wonder if the Greeks really understood the world in a way we are just unable to. Know what I mean?

Right now, it's 87F, 99F with the humidex.

It's supposed to go up to 93F, and probably well over 100F with the humidex. :cries:

I don't want no second rate SF for you. I'm just looking out for your best interests. I'm a nice guy like that.

I don't think Barry has any place in porn.... Maybe "Some Kinda Friend" but that's pushing it.

Both of mine told me I was having money issues, or so I think, so don't feel bad about spending some on myself (hahahaha) cause it'll work out.

And yeah, it's going to be an oven outside here, too. I hope it cools down by the evening so I can go workout.

Keep in mind that I'm still skeptical, but I find it intriguing enough to be interesting. What that is supposed to mean personally is that useless things from our lives are stripped away during this time - or at least they should be, if we don't cling to them. People, relationships, material goods, etc. I suppose that's part of the illusions falling away. And, if we've gone through this phase correctly, we're supposed to enter this new era freer and lighter, and ready for the future.

Meh. No Barry.

Before the end of the week, you may grow tired of hearing me say the same old thing. I'll do my best to vary the tone and style of the message but the substance can't really alter. There's only one thing I want to say, only one thing you need to hear, only one thing that needs to be stressed. You're not in as much as a hurry as you think or fear. There's nothing you have to control, take charge of, push or rush. As long as you look out for your opportunity, your opportunity will find its way to you.

A situation involving a friend or loved one may briefly seem complicated or awkward this today, and then abruptly improve on its own. This is an excellent lesson about being patient instead of pushing the panic button at the first sign of trouble. Pausing and thinking things through for just a few moments will create the necessary cushion of time for things to fall neatly into place. Nothing must be forced. Your friend will arrive at a wise decision without any coaxing.
I'm sure it'll happen just like that.

So I take it from mine that I'm supposed to stop stressing - easier said than done. I think I was born stressed out.
