The Joel Plaskett Emergency. They're a local band from Halifax, so I doubt you've heard of them out in Van City, but here he'll draw probably 9,000-12,000 people to the show tomorrow night. It's gonna be the kickoff to the second-biggest party weekend of the summer in Halifax!

Yes, I'm going to go visit my parents. I have tomorrow and Monday off, so I'm hoping to get lots of rest, and hopefully go on some great hikes. I really need to get away for a few days just to clear my head and recharge.

I leave for my trip on Aug 10th - 10 days away!
