I do very well. It's mostly a brilliant company to work for and I'm well respected. A lot of it is my own F***ed up psyche though when it comes to work ethic and peope's value I was raised in a family where "how was work today?" or how are you doing at work?" has completely replaced "how are you?" "how are things?"

I heard a song fromt he new mute math on the weekend...never heard them before but I liked that song
Yeah, I know. What was I thinking?

I'm glad you do well, you should. If you enjoy it, go with it. Is this wacky schedule just cause it's early in the year, or is this the way it's to be all the time?

Pepperdine looks like a place people go to totally forget about books and studying for 4 years. I would not be able to focus if I was a student there, and I'm in my 30's...at 18, fucking forget it.

Ever heard of Solstice Canyon, Kat?

ETA - I plan to make the trip, Snow. Now, if you all meet me in March and decide I'm the biggest ass you've ever met, I might reconsider...but that aside, I should be there.....I'll either turn it into a business trip to Detroit...or as an excuse to finally visit Toronto.

NSW actually Pepperdine has a very mellow campus, no parties and when you're a student there you go to the Ralphs for celeb. sighting. It's actually boring but beautiful

I've heard of Solstice, don't know if I've been there is that off Kanan?

Work.

If you're not too familiar I can send you some songs. I quite like them but you saying new makes me wonder if it's the album I have or something altogether new which pisses me off cause no one I like can come out with anything new til I have money.

I think I shall go CD shopping this weekend.[/announcement]

I'm trying to follow along with everyone but sometimes it's just so damned difficult. I get confused easily.

Really? I never realized Pepperdine was like that. Go figure.

It's not off Kanan, it's before Kanan...forget the street name, but, it's right at a 76 station not far past Pepperdine.

My team works afternoons...I don't have to be there but I just took over this team at the start of this fiscal yr...Nov, and they were one of the worst teams...I'm on a mission to turn it around by the end of Q1...Jan...I find that there are a lot of gaps in their training...some product knowledge but mostly process, it's easier for me to identify and fill the gaps when I'm the with them watching over them. It's uncomfortable for all of us, but they have already seen the improvement in their performance so they know there is value in it. This will ease off and I'll be able to cut back if we have a balanced scorecard by end of Feb. I BLOODY HOPE :fingerscrossed:

I once made a whole "play" with smilies, and that's how I learned about the smiley limit. That irked me.
