Hopefully it was just a dream, but, if they get swept again, it would not exactly shock me if he got the boot and Mattingly or Girardi got the gig.

which of course would not be a good idea, seeing as the yankees have never won a world series while mattingly's been associated with the team, as a player or coach.

While I think this finally might be the year they don't win the AL East, I seriously don't think the Yankees will finish last in the division, either.

Torre will be around for the whole season and then not come back.
