World has it they are coming to Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY on Sept 30 as well. Louisville is one of my favorite cities, mainly b/c I am an avid gambler and their riverboats are great. But I would have to do pretty good at the casino to justify paying for those tickets.

There was an Edmonton arena show before the Vancouver show on an pre-anouncememnt internet list I saw. All the other dates were 95% right.

The Louisville concert on september 30th is not going to happen, at least not on that date. It could perhaps happen on the 29th though.

In the markets where the Stones are returning, (Foxboro, East Rutherford, Chicago) tickets are selling very slowly. The opposite was the case for Regina on October 8th. Tickets sold out very quickly there and they are getting a second show on the 6th. As a result they have had to movve Missoula back to October 4th and are moving Wichita to October 1st. As the Stones no longer play 2 nights in a row, Louisville on Sept. 30th is not happening for sure.

It's a huge buyer's market for tickets here in Austin. A GA ticket has been going for as little as 60 bucks, 50 dollars less than face value with fees....

which is why I snapped one up!

Yes, it's true. I'm seeing the Stones this Sunday.

(And Jenny Lewis on Monday and Broken Social Scene next Thursday).

I read JERRY Lewis.

I saw them in Hershey when they started this tour like two years ago or something... - SAME deal...I could not find someone to go, So I ATE a $75 ticket...but enjoyed seeing Beck open up.

Broken Social Scene on thursday and Tapes n' Tapes on Saturday!

Good man, but I'm not going to the Stones alone. I met a girl here and we're going together. Make sure to tell me BSS is and how absolutely pumped I should be. Also if Amy, Feist, and Emily are all there.

Most importantly Feist

Wow, nice. I'm surprised Van's ego didn't get in the way of him being an opener. Our opening act is Los Lonely Boys. Suck. Wish they could have got a bad ass local act like Explosions In The Sky or Okkervil River. Neither of those would have been good for a huge show like this, though. At least it's not as bad as somewhere up north. I'm not sure exactly which show, but some unfortunate crowd is going to have to sit through Blue October.

Sounds like fun - I'd go if the tickets were cheap. Last show I saw at Dodger Stadium (where they will play in November) is U2 - Zoo TV on 10/31 - Halloween & Larry's birthday all in one evening.

I don't know if it will be the same with Dodger Stadium. I think what happened here was uniquely Austin.

They're playing at Zilker Park, the same park where ACL is held each year. There are two sides of actual seats set up, but they don't look like much. The vast, vast majority of tickets here are general admission. Meaning there are around 40,000 or so GA tickets for this show.

I've seen them this year already and they were amazing but it wasn't worth sitting out there in the freezing weather..

I bought the mid range price tickets: $99 plus service charges.
