Sex with any of them would be great but Jeez Tony, take off that stinky, yellow, wife-beater....

Sopranos" Bad Guys Busted

E! Online

Tue May 02, 1:22 PM ET

With a faltering restaurant and a credit card-stealing employee, Artie Bucco is having his share of problems on The Sopranos this season. But that's nothing compared to what's going on offscreen.

John Ventimiglia, who plays the troubled chef on the HBO Mafia hit, was busted Monday on drunken driving and cocaine possession charges near his Brooklyn home.

According to the New York Post, the small-screen spaghetti-slinger was pulled over at roughly 1 a.m. just a block away from his Park Slope home after officers spotted his car weaving into oncoming traffic with no headlights on.

Per the criminal complaint, Ventimiglia was asked to step out of his car and the cops determined he was unsteady on his feet, had bloodshot eyes and reeked of alcohol. Police allegedly found a Ziploc bag with cocaine residue in the actor's back pocket; prosecutors say his blood-alcohol content was at 0.12, well above the state's 0.08 legal limit.
The 42-year-old actor was arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court Monday for menu of violations: driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, operating outside the lane, operating without headlights and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The Post reports that Ventimiglia had several glasses of wine at a Long Island City art gallery opening on Sunday night before driving home. Citing unnamed sources, the newspaper says the actor was pulling into a parking spot near his apartment, when he turned off his headlights. Unable to squeeze his car into the opening, Ventimiglia was reportedly circling the block, with his lights still off, searching for another place to park when police pulled him over.

The actor was released on his own recognizance following the arraignment.

Ventimiglia's arrest wasn't the only case of life imitating art among Sopranos players.

Louis Gross, who plays Tony Soprano's new muscleman, Perry Annunziata, was arrested Sunday on charges of breaking into a Queens home last month. The 23-year-old actor was also accused of getting into a scuffle with a store owner in February.

"I don't know nothing. I'm innocent. I'm always innocent," Gross said at his arraignment in Queens Criminal Court Monday.

Not according to his alleged victim.

"It was a break-in," Trinny Hill, whose brother is reportedly a close friend of Gross' and whose house the actor allegedly broke into, told the New York Daily News. "He came and took some stuff from the house. Now I've received threats from his family."

According to Hill, Gross reportedly broke a doorframe and lock in order to enter the apartment and retrieve several belongings.

The actor was arrested for burglary, though the charges were eventually downgraded to criminal mischief.

Gross also faces charges of robbery in a separate case involving the trendy SoHo clothing store Michael K. According to the Daily News, the actor set off the store's alarm on Feb. 3 while exiting with a bagful of clothes.

If convicted, Gross faces up to a year in jail in the break-in case and up to 15 years for the alleged robbery.

Over the years, the mobsters of The Sopranos have made all sorts of headlines for bad behavior. Lillo Brancato Jr., who played a wannabe wiseguy on the show's second season, is facing murder charges for his role in a botched robbery in December that ended in the slaying of an off-duty police officer.

Vincent Pastore, who played deep-sixed snitch Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero, pleaded guilty in November to a misdemeanor count of attempted assault on his former fiancee, who has since slapped him with a $5 million lawsuit.

Robert Iler, the club-hopping slacker scion Tony Jr. on The Sopranos, spent three years on probation after copping a plea to petty larceny in the shakedown of teenage tourist in 2001. Meanwhile, four years, the show's Emmy-winning godfather, James Gandolfini, admitted to past drug and alcohol problems after his ex-wife made lurid allegations during their divorce.

Now a videogame what will they think of next

Game On for "The Sopranos"
Thursday May 4 4:43 PM ET

By Gina Serpe

HBO was right: It's not TV.

It's a videogame.

Software manufacturer THQ Inc. has announced plans to develop a videogame based on The Sopranos and featuring the voices and likenesses of most of the Mob hit's key cast members, including head honcho James Gandolfini.

The game, scheduled for release on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 formats this October, is partially designed to help assuage anxious Sopranos fans in the increasingly-long gaps between new seasons.

"It's clear that fans want more of The Sopranos, and creating a game that puts the player in their world is a great way to satisfy them," says Carmi Zlotnik, VP of new media at HBO.

The game was officially announced Thursday in advance of next week's mongo Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) videogame conference but has been under development for some time. Gamers seek to become "made" in the midst of a brewing Philadelphia and New Jersey Mob war. Assume the role of Big Pussy's illegitimate son, players must carry out orders to prove their allegiance and move up within the family's ranks.

In addition to Gandolfini, Michael Imperioli (Chistopher), Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts) and Steven Van Zandt (Silvio) have all signed on to offer up their voices and likenesses for the game and dish out orders for the would-be Mafiosos. Series mastermind David Chase also lent a hand in helping to carve out the game's premise.

"We're excited to work with HBO on creating a game that captures the spirit of the groundbreaking series--a modern classic that redefines the life of crime genre," says Kelly Flock, THQ's executive VP.

In addition to the familiar faces, the game will also be set in some of the show's regular locations, including the Bada Bing!, Nuovo Vesuvio and Satriale's.

The Sopranos gang isn't the only crime family getting ready for their pixilated close-up.

Details were announced Thursday about two other big-screen crime saga adaptations.

Tony Montana will be bringing his drug-lord empire to the small screen in a similarly star-studded game based on Scarface. Sierra Entertainment's Scarface: The World Is Yours will feature the intimidating voice talents of several key actors from the 1983 film and even more who had nothing to do with it. James Woods, Michael Rapaport, Ice-T, Wilmer Valderamma, Daniel Dae Kim and even Bam Margera are among the impressive and disparate roster of contributors.

While Al Pacino won't be recording any new voice tracks for the game, he is allowing his likeness to be used for the character and hand-selected a suitably gruff-voiced actor to take his place. Some of the Oscar winner's most famous lines from the film, however--the incomparable "Say hello to my little friend," for example--will be taken from the original performance. (It was Pacino's participation in the Scarface-based game that reportedly led to him skipping out on The Godfather game that came out last month.)

The game is expected to be released this fall for Xbox, PS2 and PC platforms.

Meanwhile, Eidos announced it was priming a videogame version of Quentin Tarantino's cult classic Reservoir Dogs for release this fall on Xbox, PS2 and PC. The game will closely follow the plot of the movie, with the player following the progress of the planned diamond heist through any one of the main characters, accompanied by the film's original soundtrack. The movie's Mr. Blonde, Michael Madsen, will be on hand to unveil the game at E3 May 10 in Los Angeles.

I'm a bit hesistant, as the pattern seems to be follow up a superb episode with a subpar one.

But, we shall see.

I'm really hoping there will be more AJ this week.

Since Irvine's not here to do it, let me sing the praises of Edie Falco this week.

And Paulie with his "mother"... I think he does have cancer, thanks to the scene at the end where he goes to visit her.

It wasn't a great episode, but not the worse, either.

Can't believe there are only three episodes left!

I'm worried about Christ-a-fuh. It's hard for me to watch those scenes because he reminds me of an old friend of mine who became a junkie.

Impulse buyer, indeed. He got the wife, the kid and the dreamhouse all in one go. Wonder how that's gonna work out for him?

I can't believe Tony was such an enabler.

I'm still curious as to where the Vito storyline is going. I really am along the lines that he's going to find some happiness with the firefighter, somehow someone sees him , it'll get back to the crew and pretty soon we'll have Phil visiting NH to pay his brother in law a little "visit".

There are so many things going on this year, which is part of the reason why I'm loving it compared to last season. Last season seemed to drag on forever with no real direction, whereas this one has me at every turn.

EXACTLY......Next weeks scenes show him telling the firefighter/diner guy never to talk about what happened between them.

Does anyone know how many episodes there are left?

If I'm not mistaken there should be 3 episodes left this season and then 8 more come the fall.

i really didn't know what to make of it last night. seemed odd, like the rhythm was off, though i missed last week's so that might have something to do with it.

i was also exhausted and nodding off by the end, but i think i would have been nodding off no matter what was on TV.
