the songs of 2004

I tried to include songs that I thought most people would like
so you should be able to get any one of these songs and enjoy it to some extent.

I tried to put them in some kind of order from best to least best, but that's hard to do

You're first four songs are amazing. For me, let's see...

The Arcade Fire - seriously, I can't remember the name off hand, and I'm too lazy to look it up. It's the one that goes "everytime you close your eyes" over and over again...brilliant!

The Walkmen - The Rat. Best all out rock song I've heard in a long time. Probably since 2+2=5.

Loscil - The Grid

Sandro Perri - Dreaming (is real)

Wilco - Less than you think

Beck - argh, again the name escapes me. It was in that really good Jim Carey movie earlier this year. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
