I just finished Season 1. I didn't like it. It is worth checking out Season 2? Does it get better? How did this guy win an award for best actor?

Some of the support cast (CCH Pounder, Dutch, Julian, etc) are excellent, but all in all, I'm just not digging it. I was hoping it'd be more along the lines of The Wire, but it's not even in the same sport.

Maybe 50 interlanders will wander in here and sing the show's praises. For me, after the shock of some of what they got away with during season 1, my interest waned quickly.

The promos for this show have always bugged the hell out of me. So I've actively pursued NOT watching this, out of spite.

I loved The Wire, and I love this show. They're not at all the same, but they're both a lot of fun. I'd give the edge to The Wire, though, for sure.

but one that is 50 will say it is a good show

How many CSIs or Law and Orders do we need?


I think is has been more consistent than 24

no, it is not as good as the Wire
but it does not have the budget of an HBO program
