ive heard it

the opening track - two step is great

but it falls away badly in the excitement factor after the first track

then again gemma hayes is not the most excitable musician to listen to

for better results try: something by Ministry, or something by Steve Albini or Big Black

Mate,

If I was in the mood for Ministry, I'd listen to Ministry (actually I'd listen to NIN, but well). However if I was in the mood for some good acoustic music, I'd listen to Gemma Hayes.

How's it compare with 'Night On My Side'?

its a little bit overproduced compared to night on my side

the whole my bloody valentine influence of the first record seemed to have been washed out as shes going for a more poppy commercial sort of feel to the record

lets hope she succeeds

its a little uneven - but thats what you expect to get from ms hayes's music

there are some really good tracks:
two step
nothing can
happy sad

and there arent some very flashy ones as well:
another for the darkness
undercover

Pictures!
